Connect to the Printer
1. Go to USA.Canon.com -> driver + downloads -> search “C5235A” -> click “Imagerunner Advance C5235A”
2. Scroll down to ‘recommend drivers’ and press ‘select’ (use drop down menu to choose different operating system if needed) -> click ‘download
3. Once downloaded, click on ‘installer package’
4. Once installed, go to ‘System Preferences’ to add printer -> printers + scanners -> ‘+’ or ‘add printer’ -> add IP address: 192.168.1.225 -> protocol: line printer Daemon – LPD -> name it whatever you’d like -> Use: ‘Select Software’ search for C5235 and choose Canon iR-ADV C5235/5240.
